3. (All platforms) Log in & set your options to upload character profiles

Make sure you're logged in and playing online from within the game. After you launch either game, the lower left shows whether you are logged in or not, and there is a place in the game settings you set to upload your character profile. When logging in, use the email and password you use to log into Origin. See screen shots below.
