The Edmonton Expo ran from September 26 through 28, 2014. Bioware was in Hall C and had panels and signings. Some things seen and heard by BSN forum user Ferico21 (thank you so much for giving everyone a rundown!): People will be interested/happy to hear that there will be a sort of click and pull feature within it when creating the face. A bit similar to the one in Sims 4. There will also be a color wheel for some choices such as the eyes, tattoos and warpaint. And the mustaches and beards look glorious. Other quick notes they hinted at vaguely were: -not "seeing" the warden in inquisition, but leaves potential for hearing of them. -maybe griffins as late game or dlc -and character creation will likely take place right after the beginning incident leaving me to wonder if they will let you play as a masked character for a bit before choosing their looks. We will see more tomorrow night on the stream. Along the lines of character creation: Some haircuts shown for the male human were, top heavy buzzcut sides, long gorgeous hair, very large thick beards, mustaches with scrubble, and some very fashionable hair for the ladies. "We saw Hawke in a recent trailer how hard was it turning a pc into a npc?" They responded by saying it was pretty difficult by making it just right and recognizable for the audience. The lead concept artist talked about how it usually takes 1 day to make a characters model but Hawke took him around 3 days, They were really careful to include the Hawke you remember whether they were sarcastic, diplomatic, or aggresive. So it seems it was a pretty big thing for them the get right, bringing old characters like Cullen and Hawke into DA:I Also said that yes you will be able to change the way Hawke looks, but not when in the story that would be -cave exploration was heavily mentioned by Laidlaw as he wanted "each area to have a dungeon or cave to explore." And you'll never know what you may find such as a note or item you can take back to Skyhold to have examined. -power will progress the story. The more power and influence the inquisition gains the more you can do along the lines of story and you may find yourself having a lot more than you would need to finish the game. -major choices can have major outcomes such as how one might lead you to a whole different place than the other would. -You will find yourself spending a lot of time at Skyhold to do tones of different things and activities. -the head scout for the inquisition, Harding, who we know as the cute Dwarven rogue from the last demo, is described as being "cute and merciless". Having to go and scout out locations and kill groups of enemies to clear a camp. http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/File:Harding.png -be on the lookout for cheese wheels. They said you would be finding them in the most random places. -the treasury vault for Skyhold went through different phases with what its contents were. Sometimes it had stacks of cheese wheels, and other times it was barrels. The sound of walking in there was very satisfying. Q: Did they showed Dalish vallaslin and Qunari horns? A: They did show the horns and boy you have a lot of choices for horns or no horns at all. Sadly they didn't show any elven vallaslin, but they showed how pink warpaint looks on a dwarf. Oh also there was make-up, for guys and gals with a color wheel of choices. Q: Did they show any sheared off horns as an option? Kinda like Ketojan?
