Earn gold through missions/weekly operations and/or purchase platinum
Buy chests at the end of missions that contain potions, recipes, etc
No gear between SP & MP, they are completely separate, as are the economies
Crafting in MP is through salvaging gear you don't want then creating gear that you do
There will be an Inquisition HQ online, accessible via tablet, PC, etc to handle inventory and crafting on your MP characters
Twelve characters, four for each class (warrior, rogue, and mage), will be available at launch. For more information, see the Dragon Age: Inquisition Multiplayer page. Blair Brown @blairkerrbrown #DAI Multiplayer Announced! Not connected to the SP game (ala galactic readiness), Free DLC, enjoy! User Does affect any of the single player story? I.e. Strength of the Inquisition to get better outcomes for ending/or other plots Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw Nope. No story impact, aside from themes. John Epler @eplerjc To clarify, playing MP vs. not playing MP will have no impact on your SP experience. User @AarynFlynn count for SP so my question is, IS the MP going to have ANY effect on the SP at all? Aaryn Flynn @AarynFlynn @User No gated content. But we do have some cool ideas for the future, even as we keep the experiences distinct Mark Darrah @BioMarkDarrah And no, singleplayer content is NOT locked behind MP. Ability Drain @AbilityDrain Since the characters work for our Inquisitor, will some of the items we unlock in multiplayer become available in story mode? Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw No, they're separate modes. Ability Drain @AbilityDrain Thanks for replying. Ok, one more: will we get to meet some of those characters in single player? Or are they strictly MP only Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw More details later. user @IGN @BioMarkDarrah Please, can we actually have a Co-op RPG experience where we pick dialogue options and make open story decisions? Mark Darrah @BioMarkDarrah @user @IGN Not this time. Its on the list for a later game, though Patrick Weekes @PatrickWeekes Also, MP served as a fantastic testing ground that made certain our combat was fun and deep. Patrick Weekes @PatrickWeekes It is wholly optional, but its inclusion absolutely resulted in a better SP experience. User MP doesnt have an impact on SP but does SP have an impact on MP? Like you can only play a mission once youve 'unlocked' in SP? Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw Nope. Consider them separate. User Hi Mike. In the DA:I MP, do you HAVE to have 4 players? Or can the missions scale down for 2 or 3 players? Mike Laidlaw @Mike_Laidlaw You can run with less than 4, but it will be harder. |
